Art at Armada House is not an addition. It is embedded. Art allows us to imagine the parts of history that have been hazed by time, or cast us into worlds we don’t inhabit.
Throughout the house, guests encounter a curated collection of works by Mick O’Dea, presented in collaboration with Dublin’s Molesworth Gallery. His powerful portraits and historical narratives bring depth, tension, and humanity to the spaces they inhabit.
The ground floor ceilings are adorned with the scenes of fantasy by muralist Michael Dillon including the spectacular underwater world - playful, surreal, and inspired by the Atlantic beyond the walls.
Here, art does not decorate the experience, it deepens it.
Music choice is curated by renowned singer songwriter Susan O'Neill, who presents her First Light and Late Lounge playlists, bringing you on a journey from Clare around the world and through various moments in time.
