Originally built in c.1807 as a Gentleman’s Residence, the house has lived many lives - shaped by landlords, endured through famine, reclaimed by community, and later serving as a convent, boarding school, and centre of care.

Its story is layered, complex, and deeply tied to the evolution of the Armada itself. From the Atlantic Hotel to a sheebeen on the main road, and ultimately to the Armada Hotel of today, Armada House completes the circle.

This is not history preserved for display.

It is history carried forward - held with respect, reimagined with confidence.
